  • Hot vs. Not

Alright folks, here's a little something I've always thought about when I was growing up. If you're thinking girls, then give yourself a pat on the back. So back in intermediate school and throughout high school, there have always been the really extremely good looking females, dubbed "Hottus bitchae". Kidding. I'm not sure how it was like at your schools, but at mine most, if not all, of the hot girls were in the regular classes and not the "advanced" or "pre-AP" classes. And I always wondered why that was so. Also, because of they're extremely good looks, they hung out with the popular crowd. Note: this can also be applied to the males as well. So now that we've got that covered, through the transitive property of math, being in regular classes was more advantageous than being in the advanced classes if you wanted to be popular. (Of course none of that matters now.)

Therefore, I came up with the hypothesis that since the hot girls received more attention from other boys, they spent more time going out than, say, the ugly girls. And what did the ugly girls do? STUDY! That's right ladies and gentlemen, because the hot girls went out more, they didn't develop good study ethics, and thus in high school did not care much about getting grades but getting pregnant. Also kidding. I'm pretty sure you get the gist of what I'm trying to say. Of course this is not to be taken seriously, just something to think about.

  • Fabu Foray, Dabu Doray

So for Christmas this year, I got:

    • $330
    • Dress shoes
    • A duffel bag (boy)
    • 2 gig micro sd card
    • a UT jersey

Pretty good spoils this year, but I was expecting a new cell phone. Oh well, there are less fortunate people out there I suppose. Christmas at my grandparents' house is always fun because everyone comes down to visit and we all have a good time. My little cousins, as bratty as they are, can be so adorable. It's fun playing with them and just listening to them talk about random shit to each other. We also took family portraits today. The first time in 7 or so years. And since my entire family consists of at least maybe 30 people, it took quite a while. Although, we didn't do Christmas with my dad's side of the family. I don't really know why though, but I guess since the familial bonds have always been strained, it's to be expected.

    Have a Merry Christmas everyone!

  • Goodbye

Yesterday, my beloved family dog passed away. I was at Adrian's house playing some random board game with everyone when my dad gives me a call and tells me to come home. Annoyed, I asked why, and that's when he dropped the bomb. All he said was, "Charlie is dead." That was like the most random unexpected reason ever. It really caught me off guard. I was stunned for a moment, and then I dropped everything and headed out the door without even saying bye to everyone. When I got home, everyone was just crowded around in the kitchen, my brother sobbing and my sister upstairs crying as well. I feel bad for my sister because she had just gotten home from Austin and didn't even get to see Charlie while he was alive, and he didn't get to see her before he died. I couldn't do anything but to watch in dispair. I touched his lifeless body and it didn't feel like I was petting him. It really did like I was petting a stuffed animal or something; there was no warmth at all. Throughout this whole ordeal, I didn't shed a single tear. It's always been hard for me to cry over things like this. I mean, even at my grandma's funeral back when I was 10 did I hardly cry. The reason being that seeing everyone so sad and crying caused me to follow suit as well. My brother called me a heartless piece of shit and to burn in hell for not showing any emotion. I just shrugged it off as another one of his many insults. I don't think that he stops to think about the things that come out of his mouth. But whatever, it doesn't matter. There's alot of things I should've done with Charlie while he was still alive. I was going to take more pictures of him yesterday too, but I opted not to. Even now, I don't really think he's gone. It's all too surreal. We're burying him in the morning, well actually in a couple of hours. Cherish what you have while you still have it because when it's gone you're going to regret the things you could've done or wish you should've done.

  • Fin.

So here's to me writing another entry about, you guessed it, my neverending battle with procrastination. I have my genetics final in about 29 minutes, which I think I'm pretty much ready for. But that doesn't really matter. What really matters is how deep a hole I've dug for myself for ochem. It's funny how big I can talk about keeping up with my school work and how I refuse to let myself get swept behind. For some reason or another, I fail to accomplish my goal. I honestly don't know about half the material that's gonna be on the test. But, I still have two more days to somehow learn and understand the material. One day I'm gonna look back on this post and laugh to myself.

Well on the bright side, I'll be done in a couple of days.

    It's cold.

  • My Christmas List

Hello everybody, I would just like to tell you that I have been a very good boy this year, and I think I should be rewarded. So without further ado, I present to you my Christmas wishlist:

On Stand, Music Rest Up, Right-facing
    Yamaha YPG-625 88-Key Piano
    List price: $749.99

You see, instead of all the other little rotten boys and girls, I only have one item in mind, and yes it is a piano. But Anthony, you already have two! Nonsense, my real piano I can't possibly carry around with me. And the other? Well, the other one just sucks... seriously. Now, you all might think it's a bit pricey with the three quarters of a grand price tag. But come on guys, what is 750 bucks really worth? Putting a bright smile on my face is worth every penny of your spendings, guaranteed. In fact, you should be more surprised I didn't ask for video games. With a piano, I can entertain you with my music so it's like you're getting your money back! So all in all, we all win. It's as simple as that. So hurry and bust out your credit cards and head to the nearest music store!

Okay fine, I can do with a free dinner. That'd be pretty cool. Or money. Or a giftbasket of money.

  • Hypothermia?

Nothing tells you that you live in Texas than finally experiencing cold weather in late November. So yeah, it's getting cold now which is pretty cool. (Yay for puns.) The best part about cold weather is the moment you climb into your bed, and you're shivering just a little so you pull the blankets over yourself. But, your blanket is a little cold to the touch, so you get like a couple of seconds of coldness before you start warming up and you feel all cozy and shit.

In other news, I won't be able to drive my car around until I get the brakes fixed. It's starting to make really nasty noises. Next week will be a little hectic. I have the business fair for MIS on Wednesday to prepare for. I have a really good feeling about our performance though, and I need to win since I got a 69 on the last test because I'm fucking smart. I should probably find the nearest Bank of America to cash in my paychecks because I'm kinda running low on money. Actually no, I really am running low on money. Somehow or another I managed to spend around $500 in a span of like a month and a half. So yeah, no more of that.

"Definitely not a way to get ahead in life. O-ho"

    Have a nice one!

  • Thanks

Everybody is thankful for at least something. Sure, people will say family, friends, blah cliche response blah because it's expected. But aside from those, what are they really thankful for? So this year, I won't give thanks for my charming good looks, stunning personality, or witty sense of humor. I'll give thanks to women. Except the ugly ones. ZING!

    thanksgiving

    What are you thankful for?

  • So let's recap my week shall we?

Sunday: All nighted for bio and work
Monday: All nighted for bio again plus work
Tuesday: All nighted for bio and chem
    Wednesday: Repeat and work
Thursday: Failed chem like a mother fucker. And get stung by a fucking bee while taking the chem test.

Are you kidding me? How random is that that there is like one bee in the whole giant ass classroom and it just randomly decides to sting me. Ugh, this weekend better be relaxing. REAL relaxing.

  • FCUKED...

is an understatement. So, there is like no possible way for me to even hope to pass my ochem exam. I probably know like not even 10% of the material that's going to be covered. I'm just going to take it to see how badly I can do. Oh well, at least its a drop and I'm prepared for my bio test. It's funny that Shaunak and Richard are trying to figure out the practice exam and here I am posting in my xanga. Sweet...

So, the moral of the story is, DON'T PROCRASTINATE.

Yeah right, knowing me I'll probably do it again.

Oh yeah, and caffeine pills are the devil.
